If you had asked me twenty years ago what my life would look like today, I never would have said I'd build a fashion brand.
I would have told you I was a military wife. A mom. A creative at heart. Someone simply trying to find purpose in the spaces between deployments. While my husband served our country, moving us across states and eventually overseas, I started a little blog.
At first it wasn't glamorous.
I wrote about saving money because that's what military families do. I scrapbooked. I shared pieces of our everyday life. Eventually that little blog turned into beauty. Beauty turned into fashion. Fashion turned into a community.
Without realizing it, I wasn't just building a blog anymore.
I was building the life I never even imagined was possible.

THE DAY EVERYTHING CHANGED
Then life threw us a curveball. After nearly fifteen years of military service, my husband's career unexpectedly came to an end.
Everything we'd planned our future around disappeared almost overnight. We suddenly found ourselves asking the same question so many families ask:
"Now what?"
I was comfortable being a fashion blogger. He believed I could build something bigger. So...without asking me... He signed me up to sell clothing.
To this day, I still laugh thinking about it.
Because if he had asked first...
I probably would've said no.
